Hana Caraka is a pixel-art-style adventure game. This game tells the story of the Punakawan (characters in Javanese wayang) finding lost Javanese script. Players are presented with strategic experience (running, dodging, attacking, and choosing abilities) to be able to defeat enemies.

This game intended to introduce Javanese culture.  Now, I'm making the entertainment version. So, just stay tuned and don't forget to follow me for further update. Thanks!

And just in case if you're wondering ... the game was actually intended for a national student competition, but I didn't qualify even for the preliminary rounds :)

Control

Z - attack
X - open Pepak Purwajisaka
Enter - skill
Esc - pause

Special Thanks

Shout out to Gideon Glenn Alexander and Yohana Sirchie Samelia, who have translated Hana Caraka into English ðŸ”¥ðŸŽ‰

Game Asset

You can also use this game asset for your game project. Just take note that I won't include all existing game assets that I use on this game (especially the characters, which are exclusively for the game I'm currently working on), but instead I will create game assets that will match the theme.

I love it!! so cool

Have you considered building for Linux to play on Steam Deck?

I won't for now because this is just an educational game, and I'm still doing research for the entertainment version.

NICE ARCADE

Thanks for playing! Unfortunately, this game has no English localization yet. I will add it asap :)

I absolutely love your character design work!

Glad you like it! I wanted to make the Javanese Wayang culture look interesting, so I designed it that way :)
